How it works

  1. Start from what you have

Upload your CV as Word or PDF, even your LinkedIn profile PDF: the fields fill themselves and we point out what to double-check. Or start from scratch.

  2. Choose how you look

Four templates, eight colours or any you like, round, square or no photo. Your CV in English or Italian.

  3. Download and apply

The PDF is ready to send, the Word file is there whenever you want to tweak it. The Essential template is the easiest for applicant tracking systems to read.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. No subscription, no watermark on your document, no limit on how many CVs you download.

Tipping is optional: if we saved you some time, buy us an espresso. It helps keep CV Espresso free.

Your data stays yours

Your CV is filled in and laid out in your browser. There are no accounts: what you write is saved only on this device, until you delete it. To create the Word file, the document passes through our server for a moment and comes straight back, without being stored.

  • No sign-up
  • No CVs kept on the server

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Make and download as many CVs as you like, with no hidden costs. If it helped you, you can buy us a coffee, but you don’t have to.

Where does my data go?

It stays in your browser, on this device. We can’t see it and we don’t keep it. If you switch computers, download your CV as Word: you can import it again from there.

Can I import the CV I already have?

Yes, from Word (.docx) or from a PDF with selectable text, including your LinkedIn profile PDF. After the import we point out the fields to double-check. Scanned PDFs, which are pictures of pages, can’t be read.

Does the PDF work with applicant tracking systems?

Yes: the text stays text, it doesn’t become an image. The Essential template, in a single column, is the one automated screening systems read best.
