CV template with a coloured banner
The Banner template opens your CV with a coloured band holding your name, job title, photo and contact details. Below it, every section has the dates on the left and the content on the right: a bold look that stays tidy and easy to scan.

Perfect for
- Anyone who wants to stand out with a touch of colour without losing clarity.
- Creative and digital profiles: design, communications, events, tourism.
- Careers with many dates, which read neatly in a column.
How to make the most of it
The banner draws the eye to your name and job title, so choose a title that says straight away what you do. If you pick a light colour, such as yellow or light blue, the text in the banner turns dark by itself to stay readable.
With the dates on the left, gaps stand out: if you have a long one, you can explain it in a single line, for example a year of study or time abroad.
Frequently asked questions
Is it suitable for a public sector application?
If the call asks for the European format, use the European template. Otherwise it works perfectly well.
Does the coloured banner stay in the Word file?
Yes: the Word file keeps the banner and the colours, and you can edit it as you like.
