Warehouse operative CV example to fill in
For a warehouse job, recruiters mainly look for three things: the equipment you can operate, the kind of goods you have handled and how reliable you are on shifts. This warehouse operative CV example puts them first, in a one-column template that recruitment agency portals read easily.
It’s a made-up profile: change the details and download it as PDF and Word. Free, no sign-up.
In this example
- Licences and equipment: forklift, reach truck, pallet truck.
- The numbers: pick lines, lorries, square metres.
- Health and safety training and shift availability.
What to write in a warehouse operative CV
Equipment and licences
This is what recruiters look for first. List the equipment you can operate (counterbalance or reach forklift, electric pallet truck, order picker) and the year of your last forklift training: operating a forklift requires specific training that has to be refreshed regularly.
The numbers
Warehouse work is easy to measure: pick lines or parcels per shift, lorries loaded, the size of the warehouse, the type of goods. These details show your level straight away.
DutyLoading and unloading goods, preparing orders.
With numbersI pick an average of 180 order lines per shift in a 30,000 m² e-commerce warehouse.
Skills to include
- Loading and unloading, racking and floor storage.
- Picking with a handheld scanner.
- Goods in, checking delivery notes and use-by dates.
- Stock counts and returns.
- Packing and dispatch.
Safety and shifts
List your health and safety training and your availability: three shifts, nights, weekends. If you have been the go-to person on a shift, say so: it is extra responsibility.
Applying through an agency
Recruitment agencies almost always ask for a CV and often upload it to their system. A one-column CV like this one is read well by their software too. Save it as a PDF with a clear name, such as “CV-Andrea-Ruggiero.pdf”.
Frequently asked questions
How do I show shift availability?
One line is enough, in the profile or at the end: “available for three-shift rota, including nights and weekends”. If you already work shifts, mention it in the job entry.
Do I need a photo?
No. If you add one, keep it simple and recent; otherwise choose “None” in the “Design” tab.
